Rhidorroch Distillery is recruiting a General Manager to lead its newly opened bar, shop, beer garden, and eatery on Ullapool’s waterfront.
This role suits someone hands on and people focused who is comfortable running day to day operations while helping shape a growing local business.
The role
You will lead the team on site, setting standards and supporting staff through daily service and events.
You will oversee front of house operations, customer experience, and the smooth running of the venue.
You will manage stock ordering, supplier relationships, and basic financial controls.
You will ensure health, safety, and compliance standards are met at all times.
You will support events, promotions, and the continued development of the business as it expands.
Working pattern
This is a full time role working no more than 40 hours per week.
The role is based on site in Ullapool.
Accommodation can be provided if required.
What we are looking for
You should have experience managing a hospitality venue or similar customer facing operation.
You should be comfortable leading a team and taking responsibility for daily operations.
A strong work ethic, honesty, and a practical approach are essential.
You should enjoy working with people and be confident dealing with customers and suppliers.
