Overview
We are pleased to support a client in the Dover area with her complex care needs, whilst supporting her clinically she also has a keen interest in cooking, and as part of your role, you will provide support to her in this activity. She communicates using eye gaze technology, so experience with this is desired however not essential as you will receive training to effectively assist her with this. Comprehensive in-house training and an induction programme will be provided, led by our Nurse Manager, to ensure you are fully equipped with the skills and knowledge required to deliver the highest standard of care. Responsibilities
* Supporting BiPAP ventilation and monitoring equipment
* Assisting with PEG feeding and nutrition
* Providing safe moving and handling assistance
* Managing care related to Cerebral Palsy and dystonia
* Supporting the client's interest in cooking activities
* Monitoring and reporting any changes in health or behaviour
* Maintaining a safe and hygienic environment
* Provide 1-2-1 support to a adult with Complex Care needs
* Work closely with the Nurse Manager Team to provide quality care to our clients
* Build rapport with clients and families, working within the family home to achieve individual goals
* Potential for growth and development into a supervisor or management role

Qualifications and Requirements
* Essential: NMC registration, knowledge of infection control, experience with enteral feeding, Cerebral Palsy, Ventilation or complex care
* Right to work in the UK
* Ability to fit seamlessly into the home setting
* Experience in delivering care to complex clients, preferably in the community
* Clean and valid Registered Nurse pin with at least 1 year post-registration experience
Shift Patterns
Available Shift Patterns: Various Day or Night shifts between Monday - Sunday 08:00 - 20:00 and Monday - Sunday 20:00 - 08:00
