To help you achieve this, we will provide you with a combination of on-the-job learning and structured training together with support to study for a professional qualification in internal auditing.
Hosted by Derby City Council, we are a progressive Internal Audit Partnership, delivering a professional internal audit service to several Councils and Public Authorities in the Midlands region. Well regarded by all our Partners, CMAP currently provides internal audit services to six Councils in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Warwickshire, a Combined County Authority, a Fire Authority and a Housing ALMO.
We are looking for an individual who shows a basic understanding of the concept of risk and control to join our modern and versatile team. You will be required to undertake audit assignments across a wide range of services provided by our partners. A good grasp of activities delivered by public sector bodies and the ability to deliver to tight deadlines is desirable. Working remotely/homeworking or at one of the partners’ offices, you will need good interpersonal, communication and IT user skills and be able to work with minimal supervision.
