With offices just north of Leeds, the business is growing its Planning team and is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Planner to play a strategic role in the delivery of residential projects.

Your Role: Key Responsibilities Lead Planning Applications : Manage end-to-end applications for residential sites of 30300+ units
Site Appraisals : Conduct planning reviews to support site acquisitions and assess development potential
Stakeholder Engagement : Act as the key liaison with local authorities, consultants, and internal departments
Problem Solving : Tackle planning issues with creative and commercially sound solutions
Project Oversight : Manage external consultants and maintain control over timelines and outcomes
What Were Looking For Experience : At least 4 years in town planning, ideally with a focus on residential or mixed-use developments
Background : Experience from a housebuilder, planning consultancy, or local authority welcomed
Qualifications : RTPI-accredited planning degree (essential)
Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication, report writing, negotiation, and stakeholder management
Approach : Proactive, commercially astute, and collaborative, with leadership potential
