A highly successful and fast‑growing technology firm, is seeking a visible, proactive and commercially minded HR Advisor to join their dynamic People function. This is an exceptional opportunity for an HR professional who thrives on being a true partner and coach to the business, supporting leaders across a number of technology teams.
The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping an engaging employee experience, strengthening leadership capability and supporting a culture of high performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Partnering with Managers as a trusted advisor, offering pragmatic HR guidance on performance, development and day‑to‑day people matters.
2. Acting as a visible, approachable and credible HR contact across commercial functions, helping to build a positive and inclusive employee experience.
3. Coaching and constructively challenging managers to enhance leadership capability, develop high‑performing teams and champion company culture and behaviours.
4. Guiding managers through employee relations issues and organisational change with fairness, integrity and alignment to company values.
5. Supporting the Senior People Partner in delivering the people strategy and translating strategic priorities into practical actions for managers and teams.
6. Working collaboratively with specialist teams (Reward, People Experience & Development, etc.) to shape people solutions aligned to business needs.
7. Using people data and insights to inform decision‑making, shape initiatives and measure impact.
8. Supporting cyclical people processes – performance, calibration, reward, engagement surveys – ensuring consistency and high‑quality outcomes.
9. Maintaining oversight of headcount and workforce movements to support accurate planning and proactive escalation where required.
10. Driving continuous improvement, including championing new technologies such as AI to enhance the manager and employee experience.
You will have;
11. Solid HR/People Advisor experience gained in a fast‑paced, progressive commercial or technology‑led environment.
12. Proven experience managing complex employee relations matters end‑to‑end, with a fair, commercially minded approach.
13. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence, coach and build trust quickly.
14. Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to grasp issues quickly, delivering effective, pragmatic solutions.
15. Evidence of sound judgement, integrity and the ability to provide confidential, accurate advice.
16. Flexible communication style, able to adapt to different audiences and contexts.
17. Resilience, adaptability and confidence managing ambiguity, busy workloads and competing priorities.
18. Solid understanding of UK employee relations processes and employment legislation.
19. Tech‑savvy, ideally familiar with HR systems such as Workday and curious about how new technologies (including AI) can enhance the People experience.
20. A positive, proactive team player with energy, enthusiasm and a passion for delivering a great employee experience.
