Job summary We are currently looking for an Instrument Manager to work in our busy Sterile Services Department. The department provides an important service within the Hospital, decontaminating and sterilizing surgical instruments for the Operating Theatres/Wards, Departments and external customers. The department is fully accredited to European Standards and works within a Quality System. The department has various shifts, which cover the 24-hour day. Main duties of the job The post holder will work as part of a team supporting the management team, the Instrument Manager will ensure medical devices are maintained and are suitable for the SSD's decontamination cycle processes, and for use on patients. About us This is a full time post working 37.5 hours per week. working Monday to Friday 7.5 hour shifts, with a half hour meal break.
