Job Title: Business Analyst (Smart Meter experience)
Location: Windsor, UK Hybrid (visit to office once every week) to begin with
Job Purpose and Primary Objectives:
Business Analyst with knowledge of Smart Metering.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges.
2. Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements, processes, and workflows.
3. Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications for technical teams.
4. Collaborate with technology teams to design solutions that meet business needs.
5. Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams.
6. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
7. Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to various audiences.
Key Skills / Knowledge:
1. Solid Business Analyst craft skill and strong experience in Utilities smart metering process.
2. Expertise in eliciting, analysing, prioritising, and validating requirements.
3. Have a talent for rapid absorption of new information and can apply it effectively.
4. Experience of leading and facilitating project meetings & workshops effectively and producing documentation such as Business Requirement Documents, Functional Specification Documents, Business Process Flows, and Data Flow Diagrams.
5. Excellent communication skills written and oral.
6. Ability to plan & monitor own work activities meeting time and quality targets.
7. Thrive in a team environment.
8. Build and maintain excellent work relationships.
Experience Required:
15+ years of total IT experience and must have played the BA role in Smart Metering projects.
