**Role Overview**We are seeking a highly skilled **Senior Automation Engineer** to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in **test automation frameworks**, **functional testing**, and **QA processes**, with hands-on experience in **WebdriverIO**, **JavaScript/TypeScript**, and **Mocha framework**. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.**Key Responsibilities*** Design, develop, and maintain **automation test scripts** using **WebdriverIO**, **Mocha**, and **JavaScript/TypeScript**.* Perform **functional testing** and ensure comprehensive test coverage for web applications.* Implement and optimize **QA processes**, including test planning, execution, and reporting.* Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts in **Scrum ceremonies** to align on requirements and deliverables.* Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with teams to resolve issues promptly.* Drive continuous improvement in automation frameworks and testing strategies.* Conduct **API testing** using **Postman** and validate integrations.**Required Skills & Qualifications*** **Technical Skills:** + Strong proficiency in **WebdriverIO**, **Mocha**, **JavaScript**, and **TypeScript**. + Solid programming knowledge and ability to write clean, maintainable code. + Experience with **API testing** and tools like **Postman** or REST Assured. + Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).* **QA Expertise:** + Solid understanding of **functional testing**, **QA methodologies**, and best practices. + Familiarity with **Agile/Scrum processes**.* **Soft Skills:** + Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.**Education*** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Proud to share LSEG in the India is Great Place to Work certified (Jun ’25 – Jun ’26).Learn more about life and purpose of our company directly from India colleagues’ video:**Career Stage:**Senior Associate**London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) Information:**Join us and be part of a team that values innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
