Optime Group are excited to be recruiting Aircraft Cleaners to work with one of our prestigious clients at Gatwick Airport. This job offers an fantastic working environment and overtime opportunities.
What's on offer:
* Rate of pay:
o £13.20 per hour
o £13.45 per hour (For airside driver cleaners)
* Shift Pattern: Please refer below.
* Shift Times: 06:00 to 18:00 / 06:30 to 18:30 ( 4 on 4 off ) or 06:00 to 12:00 ( 4 on 2 off )
* Weekly Pay
* Temp to Perm (performance-based)

Key Duties:
* Clean aircraft cabins to airline and regulatory standards, including:
o Vacuuming carpets and seats.
o Cleaning and disinfecting tray tables, armrests, seatbacks, and overhead bins.
o Emptying and sanitizing lavatories and galleys.
o Removing and disposing of waste.
o Replacing seat pocket materials (e.g., safety cards, magazines)
* Restock onboard supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and catering items.
* Load and unload cleaning supplies and equipment from vehicles.
* Follow all airport and airline safety procedures, including wearing PPE.
* Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors regarding schedules and assignments.
* Work in all weather conditions and be prepared for variable shift times.
* If you hold a driving licence, you will drive cleaning vehicles safely around the airport. (Full training will be provided)
Shifts:
The Airport is operational 7 days per week and candidates will be working on a 4 on 2 off or 4 on 4 off rolling rota and you will need to be fully flexible with the days and hours you can work. This could be subject to change!

4 on 4 off
* Day 1 : 06:00 am to 18:00pm
* Day 2 : 06:00 am to 18:00pm
* Day 3 : 06:30 am to 18:30pm
* Day 4 : 06:30 am to 18:30pm
* 4 x DAYS OFF
OR
4 on 2 off
* Day 1 : 06:00 am to 12:00pm
* Day 2 : 06:00 am to 12:00pm
* Day 3 : 06:00 am to 12:00pm
* Day 4 : 06:00 am to 12:00pm
* 2 x DAYS OFF
Requirements:
* Residency in the UK for the last 3 years or longer.
* Full Manual Driving Licence (Preferred)
* Regular Driver in the UK (Prefered) You will be driving a van and trailer around the airport.
* Previous cleaning experience. (Essential)
* Good attention to detail.
* Good verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and use initiative, while being part of a team.
* Right to Work in the UK.
* Five year fully checkable reference history to be completed prior to your start date.
* Clear UK Criminal Record Check (Ability to provide overseas Criminal Record Checks if applicable)
