Job Description As a Tax Manager you will join a thriving and diverse function to play a key role in meeting the Groups direct tax obligations.
Due to our increasing global direct tax footprint and changes to the international tax landscape, we are looking for a qualified tax professional to support the on-going growth of the Business.
This role provides an exciting opportunity for a qualified tax professional to join our in-house team. You will play a key role in ensuring the increasing range of direct tax compliance and reporting obligations for multinational organisations are met across all jurisdictions, excluding and North and South America.
Qualifications Extensive experience in direct tax compliance and tax accounting.
Previous international tax compliance experience would be advantageous, however, a UK direct tax background with demonstrable experience of adapting to new challenges would also we welcomed.
Ability to use Alphatax tax compliance software.
Holding a tax or accounting professional qualification such as CTA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent is essential.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Genuine passion for tax, and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
Highly motivated, with ability to work with confidence and apply initiative.
Ability to work, influence and build relationships across all functions and levels within the Business.
Additional Information Assisting in the Groups UK corporation tax compliance and reporting position, including the in-house preparation of UK corporation tax returns, and tax provisions for UK financial statements.
Assisting in the Groups corporate tax compliance position across all relevant jurisdictions, including managing overseas advisers to meet all local corporate tax compliance obligations and, where applicable, preparation of tax provisions for local financial statements.
Assisting in managing withholding tax compliance processes for applicable jurisdictions.
Providing tax input into the consolidated Group accounts preparation.
Assisting with meeting the Groups Pillar 2 compliance requirements.
Contributing to the development and maintenance of tax governance procedures in respect of direct taxes, including maintenance and improvement of direct tax procedure manuals.
Mentoring direct tax graduate trainees, supporting their technical development.
