Community Engagement Worker
Salary: £29,175 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Fixed term for 3 years with potential to extend subject to funding
Location: Office/Hybrid (BRANCAB offices, Bedworth) with regular travel around Bedworth

About the Role
We are looking for a passionate, engaging and people‑focused Community Engagement Worker to reach into the heart of Bedworth’s neighbourhoods and help us strengthen community spirit, pride and connection. Through the national Pride in Place programme, Believe in Bedworth is bringing residents, businesses, community groups, and partners together to shape long‑term investment and real, visible change in the town—putting local people at the centre of every decision.
This is a hands‑on, community‑facing role for someone who thrives on building relationships, listening to voices that aren’t always heard, and turning ideas into action. The successful candidate will play a key role in planning and delivering events, workshops and local engagement activity, helping us change the fabric of Bedworth by making it more inclusive, connected and vibrant. Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver community events, workshops and local engagement activities.
* Build and maintain relationships with residents, businesses, community groups and partners.
* Listen and gather voices that may not always be heard and translate them into actionable projects.
* Support the Pride in Place programme to bring visible community change.
* Contribute to the development of long‑term investment strategies for Bedworth.
Qualifications
Experience working in community engagement or a related field is desirable.
Strong communication skills, confidence working with people from all walks of life, and an ability to organise and deliver community activities.
