Job Purpose:

·Responsible for ensuring compliance to all customer codes of practices and requirements. To support the business in proactively adapting our systems to fulfill our obligations as a Food Manufacturer and supplier of safe, legal and ethically compliant products to our customer’s expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

·Adhere to Natural Innovations Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times

·Adhere to Natural Innovations Food Safety and GMP policies and procedures at all times

·Conduct gap analysis’ on customer codes of practice, legislative requirements and other requirements that the business may be obligated to comply, i.e. Ethical

·Accountable for the technical data handling and trending of environmental hygiene, and product microbiological results

·Collaboration with cross functional teams to ensure the business is aware of customer, legal and ethical requirements

·Creation of action plans and project management of activities to promote ongoing strategic alignment to customer, legal and ethical requirements

·Accountable for the technical systems that allow for the business to manufacture, safe, legal and ethical products in line with the technical strategic pillars

·Responsible for the development of a high performing systems team and the day to day management of the systems team

·Accountable for raw material supplier approval and ongoing supplier technical management to ensure the materials we source are compliant with our site standards and customer requirements

·Reasonable requests to carry out other duties that may be required to fulfill the businesses strategic and operational effectiveness.


· Confident and competent communicator at all levels

· Facilitation and negotiation skills

· HACCP Level 3

· Food Safety Level 3

· HND or Degree qualified in a Science based discipline or similar

· Experience of working within a technical function at management level

· Ability to conduct detailed gap analysis and interpret requirements and translate into our business systems

· Credible management style with focus on development and coaching
