We’re now seeking an exceptional Acquisition Manager to join our dynamic Property Team and spearhead the charge in ensuring strategic and operational excellence across acquisition programmes. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days per week based in our Central Reading office.
As Acquisition Manager, you’ll play a central role in translating our vision into action. Reporting to the Head of Acquisition Services, you’ll be responsible for managing a team that delivers infrastructure acquisition activities—ensuring that projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
You will also cultivate a high-performance culture, managing key suppliers, improving processes, and delivering sustainable cost savings—while always maintaining a laser focus on customers, execution, and people.
Responsibilities of the Acquisition Manager include:
* Own and deliver end-to-end acquisition projects including replacements, relocations, upgrades, and decommissions.
* Lead and manage supplier performance and third-party contracts, driving accountability and recovery plans.
* Oversee financial performance across CapEx and OpEx, identifying savings and forecasting effectively.
* Build a thriving team culture through recruitment, coaching, performance management, and engagement.
* Be a key influencer across the business—setting SLAs, sharing feedback, and challenging the status quo.
* Serve as a trusted service provider, continuously improving how we meet internal and external customer needs.
The successful Acquisition Manager will have:
* An experienced Manager with natural leadership skills and a passion for people development and team excellence
* Proven experience in acquisition delivery within the telecoms or infrastructure space
* Strong knowledge of ECC legislation, T&C Planning, and wayleave management
* Deep understanding of RAN and infrastructure deployment processes
* Confidence in holding suppliers accountable and influencing senior stakeholders.
* Superb planning, communication, and relationship-building abilities
* A proactive mindset with an eye for compliance, continuous improvement, and innovation
