Sales Manager

Location: Watton – Hybrid working available (split between office and home)
Salary: Competitive + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
Hours: Full-time

We’re seeking a driven and results-focused Sales Manager to join a high-performing team and help drive business growth across key markets. If you thrive in a technical, client-focused environment and are passionate about achieving success, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

What you'll be doing:
1. Working closely with the Sales, Engineering, and Project Management teams to deliver accurate, technically robust, and commercially sound bids.
2. Developing key accounts and growing your region year-on-year by identifying new opportunities, improving margins, and building strong client relationships.
3. Leading the preparation and submission of bids, ensuring proposals meet company standards and include all required information.
4. Managing the full sales cycle, including commercial negotiations, contract variations, and client relationship management.
5. Identifying and managing external sales agents, reviewing agreements, and supporting the vendor registration process.
6. Maintaining and updating CRM systems with accurate and timely information.
7. Preparing regular sales updates, forecasts, and contributing insights at internal sales meetings.
8. Representing the business at client meetings, internal handovers, and project kick-off sessions (both virtually and in person).
9. Travelling domestically and internationally as required to meet clients and support business growth.
What we're looking for:
10. Proven experience in Sales Management, Business Development, or Account Management roles.
11. Strong background in market analysis, strategic planning, and sales reporting.
12. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
13. Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
14. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
15. Previous experience selling into technical sectors (Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or similar industries) is desirable.
16. Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development activities.
