Teaching Assistant - Brand New SEND School
Location: Chaldon, Surrey
Salary: £13.51 - £14.45 per hour + £1000 Welcome Bonus* Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (Term Time Only)
The Opportunity
Are you a motivator, a problem-solver, and a creative thinker? We are seeking proactive individuals to join our brand-new SEND school in Chaldon.
We support young people aged 11-16 who require specialised assistance with social communication, emotional regulation, and sensory processing-needs typically associated with Autism. With small class sizes, high staff-to-student ratios, and a full multi-disciplinary team, we provide an environment where both staff and students can truly thrive.
Your Role
As a Teaching Assistant here, you do more than just follow a lesson plan. You are a champion for our pupils, helping them discover their unique strengths and celebrating every milestone.
Key Responsibilities:
* Inspire Confidence: Build resilience and self-belief in young people, helping them achieve more than they ever thought possible.
* Break Barriers: Use a creative approach to adapt learning activities to meet individual needs.
* Think Outside the Box: Bring learning to life both inside the classroom and out in the community.
* Collaborate: Work alongside teachers and specialists to promote independence and positive behaviour.
* Diversify: No two days are the same; you'll lend a hand wherever needed to support student growth.
About You
You don't need to be a highly experienced TA to excel here. We hire for outlook, values, and behaviour. If you have the right mindset, we will provide the training to help you succeed.

* Qualifications: GCSE Maths and English (Minimum Functional Skills Level 2).
