Always working closely with clients to ensure deliver the highest quality products, we now provide metal pressing and other manufacturing solutions to a number of key automotive and off-highway OEMs and tier one companies across the UK and beyond, including JCB, Jaguar and Land Rover.
The Role
· React efficiently and effectively to breakdowns across the site.
· Competent in Mechanical, electrical and hydraulic disciplines.
· Highlighting inefficiencies with machinery and equipment, whilst generating practical solutions.
· Troubleshooting and correcting malfunctions on industrial/paint plant equipment, Automated production lines, robots, lasers, hydraulic presses (Ideally, this would include experience with PLC controllers, HMI equipment machinery)
· Carry out PPMs to maintain asset performance and keeping computerised logs up to date.
· Actively participate in root cause analysis activities
· Adhering to the company's Health & Safety policy and safe working practices.
· Rotating shift pattern which will include a weekend.
Education/skills/Qualifications
· NVQ Level 3 or above in an engineering discipline
· Experience of working within a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably with power press, lasers or paint plant.
· PLC experience
· Ideally qualified to operate a MEWP
· 18th Edition and Electrical installations/inspection and testing

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work autonomously and within a team
· Utilise problem solving capabilities and root cause experience to generate practical solutions
· Continuous improvement mindset with a proactive approach.
