The vacancy Your typical day could start with coordinating toolbox talks for operatives, ensuring all team members are aligned and prepared for their tasks. Then you might liaise with suppliers to confirm material delivery updates or rearrange appointments for training sessions. Later, you could be analysing customer satisfaction feedback and contacting residents to discuss their repair journey experience. As a Planning Support Officer, you’ll be the go-to person for supporting operational needs, working directly with the in-house Direct Labour Organisation (DLO) and stakeholders to ensure repairs and services run smoothly. No two days are the same, and you’ll play a critical role in delivering excellent customer service and operational efficiency. You’ll be at the heart of PGM’s operations, supporting the practical needs of the team and ensuring services meet the highest standards. As a key part of the team, you’ll engage with internal and external stakeholders, tackle operational challenges, and contribute to improving Peabody’s service to residents. Your Responsibilities Your role covers a range of activities, including: * Managing operative and supervisor schedules for training, toolbox talks, and scorecards. * Monitoring and liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials. * Supporting the resolution of complaints by coordinating with internal teams. * Analysing and acting on customer satisfaction data, ensuring excellent service. * Providing administrative support to the PGM operational management team. You will also need to demonstrate strong communication skills, a collaborative approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
