Renault Truck Commercials are pleased to offer a Parts Apprenticeship based at our Renault Trucks Dealership in Bristol
Join the commerical vehicle world of supplying parts not only to our customers, but to our own busy workshop technicians. If you enjoy working with systems and have attention to detail for hundreds of parts numbers and prices, then this could be for you.
This is an 18 month apprenticeship which covers working 'hands on' in the depots, online learning modules and visits to the depot from the Apprenticeship provider. A driving licence is preferable to assist with parts deliveries where needed.
Course content
Apprentices will develop practical skills and industry knowledge in areas such as:
• Trade counter and telephone-based customer sales and enquiries
• Automotive parts identification and product knowledge
• Stock control and goods handling
• Digital systems and parts ordering platforms
• Health, safety and legal responsibilities within parts operations
• Professional communication and teamwork in the workplace
Programme Overview
The programme runs over up to a maximum of 18 months, combining structured apprenticeship training with additional technical development.
Apprentices take part in regular learning sessions alongside their day-to-day role while building a portfolio of evidence that demonstrates their occupational competence.
The programme also integrates additional technical learning aligned to the SCQF Level 5 Diploma in Vehicle Parts Principles, strengthening apprentices’ understanding of modern parts operations and emerging vehicle technologies.
End-Point Assessment
At the end of the programme apprentices complete an End-Point Assessment Window, where they demonstrate their competence through:
• Knowledge test
• Real-life workplace observation
• Professional discussion supported by a portfolio of evidence
