1.HaveaSQLserverexperiencetomodernisethewaythebusinessworksthroughsmartdevelopment,integration,automation,andeffectivechangedelivery.
2.Exceptionalcommunicationskillsanddetail-orientedproblem-solvingfocus.

Mainresponsibilities:
* Design,develop,andoptimiseSQLServersolutionsincludingcomplexqueries,storedprocedures,anddatamodelstosupportbusinesssystems,integrations,andreporting.
* DeveloptechnicalsolutionsusingSQL,scriptinglanguages(Python/PowerShell),andautomationtools.
* BuildandsupportsystemintegrationsusingAPIs,SFTP,andintegrationplatforms.
* PrepareSQL-drivendatasetsandmaintainBIdashboardsusingTableau(withsomeexposuretoPowerBI).
* Workwithbusinessteamstounderstandprocesses,gatherrequirements,andidentifyopportunitiestoimprovesystemsanddataflows.
* Contributetobusinesschangeinitiativesthroughprocessmapping,analysis,andsolutiondesign.
* Challengeexistingpracticesandpromotescalable,modernapproachesthatimproveefficiencyanddataquality.
* Followbest-practicedevelopmentprocessesincludingversioncontrol,testing,andpeerreview.
* Producetechnicaldocumentationandknowledgearticlesanddeliverworkstreamswithinwiderprojects.
TheSkillsYoullNeedtoSucceed:
* StrongSQLServerexperienceincludingcomplexqueries,storedprocedures,queryoptimisation,andrelationaldatamodelling.
* Comfortableworkingdirectlywithrelationaldatabasesandlargeoperationaldatasets.
* DemonstrabledevelopmentexperienceusingscriptinglanguagessuchasPythonorPowerShell.
* Abilitytotranslatebusinessrequirementsintocleartechnicalsolutions.
* ExperiencepreparingSQLdatasetsandsupportingBIreportingusingtoolssuchasTableau.
* Familiaritywithversioncontrolsystems(e.g.,Git)andstructureddevelopmentpractices.
* Stronganalyticalandproblem-solvingskillswiththeabilitytolearnnewtechnologiesquickly.
* Abletoexplaintechnicalconceptsclearlytonon-technicalstakeholders.
* Curious,proactive,andcomfortabletakinginitiative.
* Qualifiedthroughexperience,apprenticeship,orrelevanteducation(nospecificdegreerequired).
DesirableSkills/Experience/Knowledge:
* Comfortableworkinginlegacyenvironmentswithaviewtomodernise.
* ExperiencewithSSIS,automation/orchestrationtools,orprocessautomation.
* AwarenessofEDIconcepts(nodeepspecialistknowledgerequired).
* ExperienceworkingwithERPsystemsorlargebusinessapplications.
