We are delighted to have this rare and exciting opportunity for a Stores Administrator to join our clients existing team based in Stanley, County Durham. This is a temporary vacancy is permanent but may commence as temporary initially. Hours of work are, Monday-Friday 8.00am-4.30pm. The sucessful candidate will provide vital support to the Manager of Engineering and the Engineering team to ensure business objectives are met efficiently, with a strong focus on Health & Safety, Quality, and Engineering. This role requires exceptional organisational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and effective communication across all levels of the organisation. Duties include; * Liaising with suppliers, reacting to deliveries not arriving on time * Ordering parts and managing deliveries * Creating/providing order numbers * Inputting data * Managing stock – stock checks, PPE * Liaising with Engineers – issuing stock, informing on parts * Delivery notes * Migrating items and PPM schedules onto UPKEEP system * Keeping Stores in a good state of cleanliness and tidiness at all times * Packing and sending any items that need to be sent by courier to ensure safe delivery * Ensure all duties are carried out in accordance with current H&S, environmental and food safety legislation and procedures ...
