Full Professor salary is no less than £107,994 per annum. Associate Professor salary is no less than £80,927 per annum. In addition, this post may attract a significant salary supplement that reflects current market conditions in some disciplines. The salary scale can be found on the LSE Website.
About the Post
The School of Public Policy at LSE is a global centre for teaching, research, and policy engagement. We are seeking an outstanding academic at the Associate or Full Professor level to join our world‑class faculty and help shape the future of public policy education and research.
The postholder will be a leading specialist in political science with a focus on public policy, conducting world‑leading research, delivering high‑quality postgraduate teaching, and contributing to the School’s leadership, administration, and strategic development.
Eligibility
* Associate Professor level: Established record of internationally excellent research, strong international reputation in public policy or its core disciplines, strategy for outstanding policy‑relevant research, excellence in postgraduate teaching, commitment to a positive learning environment, and willingness to undertake departmental responsibilities.
* Full Professor level: Substantial record of world‑leading research, top journal publications, outstanding international reputation in public policy or its core disciplines, strategy for future policy‑relevant research, excellence in postgraduate teaching, leadership in course and programme development, commitment to a high‑quality learning environment, intellectual leadership, collegiality, mentoring, and willingness to undertake substantial departmental responsibilities.
Appointment
Successful candidate will take up the post by September 2026 or as close to this date as possible.
