What will you be doing?
Main responsibilities of the role include:
15. Replacing and repairing of panels; straightening and filling
16. Completing body alignment
17. Welding and bonding
18. Filler work, dent removal and pin pulling
19. Ensuring vehicles are thoroughly examined and reporting orally/in writing on general condition of vehicles with emphasis on customer safety and satisfaction.
20. Working in a manner consistent with the minimisation of lost, non-revenue and/ or diversionary time, recording all such time in an accurate and complete manner.
21. Keeping work areas clean and tidy, well organised and safe from hazards to Health and Safety.
The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday 0830am - 17:30pm.
Who are we looking for?
Successful candidates will:
22. Have minimum 3 years previous experience in Panel repair/replacement in a Bodyshop setting
23. Have welding experience
24. Be able to carry out large repairs
25. Demonstrate a positive, right first time attitude
26. Show a great team player mentality
27. Work to a very high standard and a high level of accuracy
28. Be aware of Health and Safety in the workplace.
An ATA Qualification would be advantageous for this role as would experience of wheel alignment and headline alignment.
