In this role, you will carry out avionics modifications and maintenance in accordance with approved data and engineering documentation. You'll take full ownership of the quality and compliance of your work, ensuring safe practices and timely communication with the Lead Technician or B2 Engineer.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Precise wiring terminations and testing
Removal and installation of various shelves, panels and equipment
Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and regulatory requirements
Loom manufacture and testing
Support avionics system testing, validation, and troubleshooting
Maintain the highest standards of tool control within the work area
Maintain a safe and clean working environment
Skills And Abilities
Completed an engineering apprenticeship—ideally in Aeronautical engineering or military equivalent
Previous aircraft modification experience
Previous aircraft production experience is advantageous
Excellent hand skills
Attention to detail
Eligible to work and live in the UK
Subject to UK security Vetting
Excellent knowledge of Avionics systems
Reliability

Good interpersonal skills
Part-145 Training Requirements:
Initial Human Factors; Continuation Training Human Factors
Initial SFAR phase 1&2; Continuation Training SFAR phase 1&2
Initial EWIS group 1&2 (including EWIS group 1 Module G (Practical)); Continuation Training EWIS group 1&2
