Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join an exciting Professional Services company experiencing huge growth based in Cheltenham. For the right person the client is offering:

Role responsibilities will include but not limited to:
1. Own the end-to-end production of monthly management accounts for a number of entities
2. Deliver timely and accurate reporting packs to senior leadership, including variance analysis and commentary
3. Prepare and post month-end journals, including accruals, prepayments, and intercompany entries
4. Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensure integrity of financial data
5. Provide insight into margins, product profitability, and cost control across regions
6. Support pricing, contracting, and supplier negotiations with financial analysis
7. Translate financial data into actionable recommendations to improve performance
8. Support the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts
9. Track performance against budget and provide clear variance explanations
Person specification:
10. Qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA or equivalent)
11. Experience in multi-entity environments
12. Strong Excel and financial systems skills
13. Confident communicator with the ability to business partner across a wide range of budget holders
