Description
Brownfield Solutions Ltd (BSL) is a well-established geo-environmental engineering consultancy with offices in the North-West and West Midlands. The company specializes in the design, investigation, and assessment of land for proposed commercial and residential developments. We identify and provide solutions to mitigate environmental and geotechnical risks, offering design options for site remediation and verification, including recommendations for foundations, drainage (SuDS), slope stability, earthworks, and highways.

No prior industry experience is required, as full training and support will be provided. Key Responsibilities
* Office-based work: preparation of Phase 1 desk studies, health and safety documentation, borehole and trial pit log input, lab testing schedules, data assessment, report writing, CAD drawings, basic foundation design, and development of remediation strategies.
* Site-based work: site monitoring, field data collection, supervision of investigations and remediation works, gas and groundwater monitoring, soil and rock logging, soakaway testing, sample dispatch, and field testing.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
* First or 2:1 Honours Degree in relevant disciplines (Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Physical Geography).
* Excellent communication, initiative, problem-solving, organization, and attention to detail.
* Practical field skills and willingness to work outdoors in physically demanding environments.
* Knowledge of MS Office; CAD and Holebase SI advantageous.
* Willingness to work nationwide, with a UK Driving Licence essential.
