Trainee Paraplanner (Full-Time or Part-Time)

Location: Mudeford, Christchurch, Dorset, BH23 4BA (Office-based)

Salary: Up to £35,000 a year (FTE, depending on experience)

Job Type: Full-time or part-time

About Us

MFP Wealth Management is a small family-run firm of Chartered Financial Planners based in Christchurch, Dorset (BH23 4BA). We specialise in retirement and pension planning for successful individuals and their families, helping them build a life they love and funding it with confidence.

About The Role

You'll join us as a Client Services Administrator becoming the fourth team member, where you'll get plenty of hands-on experience and support while working towards a fully funded, recognised paraplanning qualification. As your confidence grows and your skills develop, you'll take on more responsibility and gradually move into a full paraplanning role.

If you already have experience in financial services, we'll meet you where you are. Your training and development will be tailored to build on the knowledge you bring, helping you take the next step in your career with us.

Initial Responsibilities

* Providing administration throughout the client journey

* Liaising with clients and providers to gather information and arrange meetings

* Creating fact finds and using our CRM system

* Preparing documentation for meetings and processing applications

* Supporting the creation of reports, cash flow modelling and investment analysis

* Managing general office admin

* Contributing to wider business projects including marketing

This is an office-based role in our Mudeford office, with flexible hours available to suit full-time or part-time candidates.

About You

You'll be someone who's eager to learn, with a genuine interest in financial planning and a desire to grow professionally.

The Ideal Candidate

* You may already have proven financial services admin experience

* And/or a degree-level qualification

* Strong communication and IT skills

* Excellent attention to detail and organisation

* A positive, proactive attitude

* A willingness to study and develop professionally
