About the Role: As a Maths Teacher, you will plan and deliver lessons that develop students’ numeracy skills, problem-solving abilities, and scientific thinking. You will create a positive learning environment that encourages participation, curiosity, and academic success, while supporting the individual needs of each student. Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths lessons tailored to a range of abilities. Support students’ academic development and confidence in mathematics. Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a positive and structured environment. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback. Adapt lessons and resources to meet individual learning needs. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and develop resources. Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and behaviour. Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience. Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3/4 is preferred. Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate, inspire, and engage students in learning.
