Hiring: VMware Virtualization Engineering POD Lead (Product Owner – Virtualization Platform)

We are looking for a Senior VMware Infrastructure Leader to drive the strategy, engineering, and reliability of a large-scale enterprise virtualization platform within a global financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor a team of VMware engineers within an engineering POD
* Define and drive the VMware platform vision, strategy, and lifecycle
* Design, deploy, and manage enterprise VMware environments
* Drive automation and reliability improvements across infrastructure
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, Applications, and Vendors
* Implement SRE best practices, monitoring, and platform resilience
Required Expertise
* 15+ years of IT experience with strong infrastructure engineering background
* Deep expertise in VMware technologies (vSphere, vCenter, vROPS, vRO, vRLI, vRLCM)
* Strong experience in automation using PowerCLI, Python, Ansible, or vRealize workflows
* Solid understanding of distributed systems, networking, storage, and high-availability architectures
* Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills
* Experience working in large enterprise or financial services environments preferred
