We deliver to both part time and full time learners who have a variety of backgrounds but want to learn as they integrate into the local community. These posts are fixed term for one year. The Lecturer in ESOL role: Our Lecturer in ESOL will have a track record in delivering engaging ESOL lessons, and a patient, methodical approach to ensure the syllabus is delivered in an appealing way. You will be committed to helping our students make progress and will work to develop engaging, effective teaching. Key Responsibilities of our Lecturer in ESOL: Undertaking teaching and learning related activities, as agreed. Ensuring that appropriate learning materials are prepared and assessments and assignments are undertaken in a timely manner. Undertaking administration and provide reports and statistics regarding student and teaching matters. Taking an active role in the achievement of high individual student retention and success rates, meeting or surpassing the relevant targets for each. Developing curricula and learning activities, taking into consideration literacy and numeracy development, and equality and diversity. Understanding personal responsibilities in relation to Safeguarding.
