As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering drainage-led civil engineering solutions across residential, commercial and mixed-use developments. This role suits a Senior Civil Engineer who enjoys technical depth, client interaction and mentoring junior engineers, while contributing to sustainable, high-quality project delivery. The business is investing in its civil team, giving the successful Senior Civil Engineer real scope to shape workstreams and grow a strong local team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead drainage design and civil infrastructure delivery for development projects
Prepare Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies and SuDS designs
Manage technical submissions including S104 and related approvals
Coordinate with planners, environmental teams and external stakeholders
Support and mentor engineers and technicians
Contribute to project programming, quality control and client relationships
About You
Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or similar
Strong UK consultancy background in drainage and civil infrastructure
Proficient in AutoCAD and drainage software such as MicroDrainage or InfoDrainage
Confident producing Flood Risk Assessments and drainage reports
Organised, commercially aware and comfortable in client-facing roles
Eligibility to Apply
Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK. UK consultancy experience is essential and sponsorship is not available.
