You will be working in the Building Services OU based in 51 Moorgate in where we are responsible for creating healthy workplaces and efficient facilities that improve people’s lives. We are currently looking for a Technical Manager who will ensure that Skanska delivers performance in line with contract obligations and Skanska business processes. These services must be delivered with high levels of customer satisfaction.
As the Technical Manager, you will:
1. Manage escalated technical issues across sites, providing detailed reports, quotations, and ensuring full close-out of each issue while keeping site leads and clients fully informed.
2. Ensuring compliance with the company’s Health & Safety (H&S) policies and environmental performance standards.
3. Overseeing and managing the company’s quality procedures to maintain operational excellence.
4. Taking responsibility for Electrical Compliance, acting as Lead LV Authorised Person (AP).
5. Managing client relationships on a daily basis for escalated matters, attending and contributing to progress meetings, and providing technical leadership.
6. Representing Skanska at client meetings in a professional and technically competent manner.
7. Identifying and managing additional business opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and increase contract sales revenue.
We are looking for:
8. BTEC/HNC or City & Guilds Craft certificate or equivalent
9. Certificate in 18th Edition IEE Regulation (Current)
10. Low voltage AP minimum, High voltage AP knowledge
11. Experience of managing large or portfolio of sites
12. Experience of service delivery in high profile financial offices
13. Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and clients.
14. Ability to manage and prioritize a varying workload.
