YOUR TASKS You’re a great host, ensuring your guests enjoy a safe and memorable stay You work in collaboration with the Hotel Manager and Assistant Hotel Manager to ensure the smooth running of the F&B operations (including the Service & Bar departments) You make sure that all internal and external standards and processes are in place and you are in contact with all F&B suppliers for an optimal commercial relationship You are responsible for the control of the supply of goods, stock control and costs as well as monthly reports (inventories and P&L analysis) You are responsible for the implementation, monitoring and improvement of MEININGER quality standards and ensure compliance with regulations You manage the F&B team, recruit together with Hotel Manager, guide and develop the diverse team of around 10 people (Supervisor, employees and Barman) You train, coach and mentor your team with an individual approach, aiming for everyone to perform to their full potential You’re flexible and understand working on all days of the week, sometimes early / sometimes late, during weekends and on public holidays comes with the job Finally, you’re a great colleague, not afraid to jump in to support other departments every now and then YOUR PROFILE You have min. 2 years of F&B experience in a hotel/hostel and/or in the HoReCA sector, including experience in a management position. You act as a role model and enjoy working shifts and together with your team. You have experience in conducting F&B training and coaching. You have a keen eye for details, recognize opportunities for improvement and implement them You are confident in dealing with numbers, cash register systems and cash register closings (knowledge of Addipos or Sihot is an advantage) You are solution-oriented, show strong commitment and an entrepreneurial mindset You are convinced of and know the advantages of working in a diverse, multicultural environment. With your open communication, you contribute to the team spirit and support your team in achieving common goals. You have a very good grasp of the English language (min.
