The project:
We are expanding our transportation division and have upcoming opportunities for project engineers in disciplines such as civils/structural engineering, telecoms, signaling, electrification and plant (E&P), track, buildings, and civils, as well as building services (M&E). If you are a subject matter expert in any of these rail industry specialisms, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
* Coordinate work with other contractors and Network Rail.
* Liaise with route engineers (discipline).
* Participate in engineering and development assurance activities to ensure schemes are affordable, meet programme requirements, and are delivered safely, environmentally responsibly, on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
* Engage in the engineering assurance process, considering safety, reliability, maintainability, ease of construction, and environmental/whole life issues, supported by:
o Review compliance with standards (e.g., NR/L2/CIV/003, NR/L3/CIV/0063).
o Utilize risk assessment methods (e.g., HAZOP, QRA) to evaluate options.
o Ensure development of the chosen solution.
o Prepare the engineering assurance package for detailed design and respond to clarifications as needed.
o Perform engineering verifications.
o Manage engineering interfaces with other disciplines.
o Coordinate with project engineers to produce and approve method statements for site works and surveys.
o Verify contractors’ design, construction, and specialist personnel competence (e.g., CEM/CRE appointments).
Requirements:
* Ability to undertake the NR/L2/RSE/02009 role of project engineer (PE).
* Strong understanding of CDM 2015 regulations and CSM 2013 regulations, especially asset protection on various projects, always considering the customer.
* Good knowledge of Network Rail's risk assessment processes, including CSM-RA.
