What will I be doing?
You will be a key part of the Meter Data Management product team, sitting within Core Retail Automation. Your mission is to help build out robust product capabilities that transform industry and metering data into business-critical processes that our clients require. You will own defining and delivering the product roadmap for this important area, evolving existing capabilities as well as implementing new functionality to meet the complexities of the energy industry.
* Own and drive the product roadmap and delivery for the Meter Data Management module, taking into consideration the needs of multiple clients and markets.
* Work cross-functionally with engineering, other product teams, customer success, and clients to communicate the product vision clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
* Act as a subject matter expert on how meter data and its processing impacts the customer lifecycle, from onboarding to regular billing and beyond.
Required Skills
* Proven experience as a Product Manager with a strong track record of successfully managing complex software products.
* Exceptional ability to translate complex problems and jobs into clear, actionable requirements for development teams.
* Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, client success) to deliver solutions.
* Excellent communication skills, able to articulate technical and market complexities to various stakeholders, including clients.
What Will Set You Apart
* Experience as a Product Manager within the energy sector.
* Solid understanding of the end-to-end energy billing lifecycle, including meter data, tariffs, invoicing, and debt management.
* Deep, hands-on experience with energy retail markets, particularly concerning metering and industry data.
* Experience with large-scale data migration and integration projects involving legacy billing systems.
* A background in energy operations or regulatory affairs within an energy retailer.
