Aviation Finance Lawyer | London | 2+ PQE | Associate/Senior Associate
MAP Legal is working on behalf of a leading international law firm to recruit aviation finance lawyers into its highly regarded global practice. The firm has a strong reputation for advising on complex, high-value aircraft acquisition, financing and leasing transactions, and offers exposure to a broad and sophisticated client base.
The team advises airlines, lessors, financial institutions and investors on a wide range of commercial and business aviation matters worldwide. Its work spans all major aircraft financing structures, including operating leases, leveraged financings, tax-based structures, pre-delivery payment financings and insurance-backed transactions, as well as sale and purchase agreements and related advisory work.
The practice acts on transactions involving both established industry players and new and emerging market entrants. Lawyers in the team benefit from involvement in headline matters, including multi-billion-dollar aircraft orders, as well as a steady flow of leasing and financing transactions across global markets. The team also advises on disputes, enforcement and restructuring scenarios within the aviation sector.
In addition to commercial aviation, the firm has a strong business aviation offering, advising financiers and owners on a wide range of transactions across all aircraft types, including helicopters.
