Merchandiser

I am recruiting for a Merchandiser to join an apparel brand. You will be responsible for planning, forecasting and trading.
Some of your key responsibilities will include;
* Building relationships with internal teams to continuously develop & optimise product lines
* Maximising both Sales & margins ensuring stock requirement achieved
* Working closely with internal teams to improve product forecasting
* Reviewing daily & weekly trading reports to reduce stock risks
* Responsibility for stock management to increase sales & reduce obsolete stock
* Collating figures and updating the senior management team regularly
* Working cross functionally with warehousing, shipping, finance & sales teams to optimise sales and margin, while ensuring high levels of professionalism are achieved
* Monitoring market & competitor activity
Key requirement for the role;
* Previous experience at a Merchandiser level
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively at all levels
* Ability to work under pressure with proven problem-solving skills
* Strong numeracy skills and ability to analyse & collate info from various sources
* Commercially aware and business focussed
* Able to manage & motivate your team to achieve both individual and team goals
* Excellent understanding of all MS Office products especially Excel
