We are looking for a Trainee Marketing Executive to join our Marketing Planning & Campaigns Team on a 6 month FTC.
Our eCommerce websites and apps have grown steadily over the past 10 years to become one of the largest online retail platforms in the UK. We currently sell to 70 international markets, offering our 6 million active customers a personalised shopping experience and the ability to purchase from a wide range of products using multiple delivery methods and payment types.
The Marketing planning & campaigns team are a dynamic bunch who pride themselves on fostering collaboration, organisation and creativity. Our aim is deliver best in class marketing activity for UK and International markets, including strategy and creative planning across both our always on activity and campaigns for Next own brand.
About The Role:
As a Trainee Marketing Executive you will be given the tools and support to help the team with the day to day planning and management for our UK campaigns. You will learn from our team of industry professionals, as you gain valuable marketing experience in a fast paced eCommerce environment.
What else is involved?
Admin / Planning:
* Help the team to deliver our UK media campaigns across our key divisions (Womens, Home, Mens and Kids)
* Support the team on ad delivery for all social media paid campaigns, working closely to our critical paths and workflows for campaign delivery.
* Collaborate with wider teams to ensure alignment between all of our creative advertising, ensuring synergy between all areas (Offsite, onsite, owned etc)
* Liaise with internal teams, including the divisional trade teams, to source and select high-quality imagery that reflects our brand's fashion-forward ethos and taps into seasonal trends and cultural moments.
* Help gather and prepare key campaign information - from product SKUs to URLs - ensuring everything is ready for smooth handover to media teams and agencies.
* Support with reviewing and quality-checking ad previews, managing any edits or approvals with our media agency with key communication with all key stakeholders.
* Be responsible for keeping tabs on competitor activity, creating competitor reports and bringing fresh insights and ideas to team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
Analysis:
* Be taught how to maintain campaign trackers, updating results from all activity, ensure new learnings are actioned upon with the team executives.
* Attend ad performance review sessions to understand what's working and what can be improved, gaining a strong grounding in digital marketing KPIs and best practices.
* Keep up to date with paid digital marketing developments (creative / format based) and attend relevant training / webinars to broaden your knowledge.
Misc:
* Support the team on additional campaigns / projects when required across UK & International
* Support on communications planning for CRM (email) if required.
