Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Band 7 Vascular Sonographer or Vascular Technologist for a short-term contract to support our vascular services. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently performing and reporting on a full range of vascular ultrasound examinations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform and report on vascular ultrasound scans including:
Arterial and venous mapping
Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) screening
Ankle Brachial Pressure Index (ABPI) and Toe Brachial Pressure Index (TBPI) measurements
Work independently and efficiently within a clinical environment
Ensure accurate diagnostic reporting to support patient care
Requirements:
HCPC registration (or equivalent professional body)
Proven experience in vascular sonography
Ability to work autonomously with high clinical standards
Competitive hourly rate (dependent on experience)
Flexible short-term assignment
