Overview
Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP) role at NHS Ayrshire & Arran. Based at Mid Argyll Hospital in Lochgilphead with 24-hour ENP service operating in A&E/Inpatient Services.
Responsibilities
* Act as the Senior Nurse for the A&E department and for the hospital during out-of-hours periods and in the absence of the Senior Charge Nurse.
* Ensure safe and effective clinical practice.
* Manage and develop the performance of the team and contribute to delivering the organisation\'s objectives.
* Work closely with local GPs who provide medical cover to the hospital and community.

* Location: Mid Argyll Hospital, Lochgilphead, Scotland
* Department: Accident & Emergency, Inpatient Services
* Facilities: 15-bed GP acute ward; busy Outpatient department; rehabilitation, daycase services, and transfusion capabilities
* Service: ENP operates 24 hours

Requirements
* Registered ENP with the ability to act as Senior Nurse in A&E and hospital outside of standard hours
* Excellent communication, prioritising, and decision-making skills
* Commitment to safe, patient-centred care and clinical leadership
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience in an A&E setting; ability to support multidisciplinary work
* Ability to contribute to performance management and service development
