Your Role
As part of the growing Energy Transition & Utilities practice, we are seeking an experienced senior leader to join our Nuclear team. The role involves shaping strategy, building senior client relationships, leading client engagements across the full civil nuclear lifecycle, coaching junior members, and driving business development.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead high‑profile nuclear energy projects that support low‑carbon, sustainable, and secure energy outcomes.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary experts in civil engineering, digital, data, business operations, nuclear industry, and emerging technologies such as AI.
* Work closely with clients at all organisational levels and lead delivery teams to achieve improved project execution and operational performance.
* Shape strategy and drive growth for the nuclear business.
* Build and own senior client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
* Coach and develop junior team members, modelling core values and behaviours.
* Contribute to business development and thought leadership initiatives.
* Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Additional Contributions
* Business Development – Leverage existing relationships and personal network to generate new revenue.
* Internal Contribution – Participate in campaign development, think‑tanks, whitepapers, practice development, and internal events.
* Learning & Development – Engage in continuous learning and training to support career growth and skill development.
Qualifications
* Experience working in the civil nuclear sector, including engineering, construction, operations, commissioning, and de‑commissioning of nuclear projects.
* Strong consulting skills, ideally from a major consulting firm or industry with a consulting background.
* Solid commercial and business understanding, with the ability to leverage networks for larger revenue opportunities.
* Proven ability to drive improvement initiatives across the full civil nuclear lifecycle and related sectors.
* Successful track record in a matrixed organisation, securing support and commitment from peers to sell and deliver consulting solutions.
