Position Overview
Loughborough Colleges Elite Sport department is a highly successful department with over 2,000 learners. The department offers a wide range of provision up to L4 qualifications, working nationally with a broad range of funded programmes that includes study programmes, apprenticeships, international, adult programmes and the Diploma in Sporting Excellence. We are seeking a Lecturer to teach and support elite sport learners, including developing curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment strategies that support learners progressing through sport talent pathways. The successful candidate will deliver inspiring teaching and learning both face‑to‑face and online, monitor learner progress and ensure target grades are met.
Responsibilities
* Develop both the curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment strategies that support learners progressing through sport talent pathways.
* Deliver inspiring teaching and learning, both face‑to‑face and online, and monitor learner progress to ensure target grades are met.
* Work both at Loughborough College and at other off‑site locations.
Qualifications
* Relevant degree and teaching qualification.
* Extensive teaching and vocational experience in further education.
* Experience of elite sport and working in high‑performance environments.
* Full, valid driving licence and ability to travel to off‑site locations.
* Strong interpersonal and organisational skills and ability to work effectively with a range of partners.
* Excellent planning and administration skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
* Knowledge of a range of teaching methodologies, including online delivery.

Salary
Salary: GBP 30000 – 40000 per year.
