Role Description
We're recruiting Coaches for the Data Visualization Society.
We are looking for professionals or experienced students who would like to lead short weekly workshops (1–2 hours) focused on SQL or Power BI. Sessions can be delivered online or in person at our Seattle Blueberry campus, depending on your preference and availability.
This is a great opportunity to share your expertise, build teaching experience, and engage with a highly motivated community of UCL students interested in data, analytics, and visualization.
What you'll do:
• Deliver practical, beginner-friendly or intermediate workshops
• Help students build real-world data skills
• Contribute to a collaborative learning environment

Qualifications
* Coaching, mentoring, and training facilitation skills
* Data visualization expertise, with proficiency in tools like SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, or similar software
* Strong data storytelling, analysis, and presentation skills
* Experience in creating and delivering educational materials and resources
* Proven ability to foster engagement and collaboration within diverse groups
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* A passion for teaching and helping others grow in data visualization
* Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Design, Communication, or a related field is beneficial
* Experience working in a professional or educational capacity within data visualization is a plus
