Halstock Cabinet Makers are looking for a Commercial Assistant to support the financial administration, procurement, and FSC compliance of high-end joinery projects for some of the world's most prestigious properties.
The successful candidate will assist in managing project finances and supplier relationships, ensuring accurate reporting, effective procurement processes, and the smooth delivery of projects in line with budgets and specifications.
Based in Somerset, Halstock designs, manufactures, and installs bespoke interiors for the luxury residential market.

Detailed Job Description
The purpose of this role is to oversee project finances, procurement and FSC compliance, ensuring accurate financial administration, effective supplier management, and assisting in the delivery of projects in line with budgets and specifications.
Project Finances
*
o Co-ordination and administration of monthly project valuations with Halstock Project Managers
*
o Management, co-ordination and administration of: Outward project invoices; Project related FSC - requirements (if applicable to procurement scope); Monthly forecast invoicing with Halstock Project Managers and Outsource Manager
*
o Prepare, issue and maintain accurate valuation reports to the Commercial Manager and relevant stakeholders
Procurement
*
o Full responsibility for the creation of purchase orders in line with project budgets and specifications, as guided by the Project Team members.
*
o Ensure purchase orders are coded accurately against correct cost codes
*
o Issue purchase orders to suppliers and confirm receipt
*
o Chase and manage suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
*
o Monitor supplier capacity and communicate risks or constraints to the Commercial Manager and relevant teams
*
o Maintain accurate supplier records and ensure insurance and compliance documentation is up to date
*
o Liaise with the warehouse/stock team to coordinate deliveries and help manage stock levels where necessary
*
o Communicate supplier performance, lead times and issues back to internal teams in a timely manner
*
o Source new suppliers where required and help obtain competitive quotes in line with company procedures as directed by the Project Teams.
FSC
*
o Support the FSC Chain of Custody Manager as required in relation to procurement activities
*
o Ensure all purchased materials meet FSC requirements where applicable
*
o Assist with the management, co-ordination and administration of FSC accreditation as it relates to - procurement
Office Admin

o Support the Office Manager in the day to day running of the office
