Lead Research Nurse Phase 1/Education

Position: Lead Research Nurse in the Phase I/Education team at Edinburgh Clinical Research Facility (CRF). The role involves direct oversight of Phase I clinical trials and the education needs of nursing and clinical teams across the Edinburgh CRF. The post‑holder will be expected to move between clinical sites as service needs dictate.
Responsibilities
* Direct oversight of Phase I clinical trials.
* Manage Phase I education needs of nursing and clinical teams.
* Move between clinical sites as required.
Qualifications
* Strong clinical research background, including conducting and managing Phase I trials.
* Experience in teaching and mentorship.
* People and resource management within a clinical research environment.
* Working knowledge of Research Governance and regulatory inspection, including understanding of MHRA Phase I Accreditation.
* Post holder must have a PVG Scheme membership or obtain it prior to appointment.
Location
Edinburgh Clinical Research Facility – purpose built adult and paediatric clinical facilities at three hospital sites in Edinburgh.
