Company Description
Title: Catering Assistant
Location: Wirral, CH46 1PR
Salary: £13.00 per hour
Shifts: Saturdays 4hrs per week 7:00am-11:00am (overtime available during the week)

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Catering Assistant to join our team in Elton, United Kingdom. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service area, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
* Assist in food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients
* Serve meals and beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner
* Set up, clear, and clean dining areas, including tables, chairs, and floors
* Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, servery, and storage areas
* Operate and clean kitchen equipment, such as dishwashers and coffee machines
* Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
* Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service
* Respond promptly to customer inquiries and requests
* Participate in training programs and implement company policies
Qualifications
* Right to work in the United Kingdom
* Ability to pass an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
* Previous experience in a catering or food service environment is preferred but not required
* Knowledge of food safety and health & safety practices in a catering environment is desirable
* Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
* Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
* Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry items for extended periods
* Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and assisting with inventory
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
* High school diploma or equivalent
