We have a rare and exciting opportunity to join our clients successful manufacturing team in Stanley. This role is initially temporary but leads to permanent, working for a forward thinking growing manufacturing business.
Hours of work are: Permanent dayshift 5.30am - 6.00pm Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday for 4 weeks and Thursday, Friday, Saturday for 4 weeks working 5.30am - 6.00pm on an ongoing rotation there after.
Duties include;
* Liaise with the Quality Department to ensure site quality standards are maintained
* Direct and develop the team through training
* Continually review and develop processes to improve and achieve maximum efficiencies
* Coordinate the daily activities for production
* Ensure housekeeping and hygiene standards are maintained, and at audit standard at all times
* Take an active role running production lines
* Attend morning meetings to discuss the previous 24 hours production
* Make sure paperwork is kept in good order and put in the correct location
* Make sure all the team are contributing to the collective aims
* Develop a good working relationship with all work colleagues
* Make sure the Downtime Record is fully completed and passed over to the line manager daily
* Make sure the shift report is completed with all the correct data and is emailed out on the day
* Ensure Hourly Tracker is kept up to date and completed by the end of the shift
* Ensure accurate hourly production figures are recorded on the Shift Record document across all Ancillary lines
Desired Experience:
* Previous experience in a Supervisory/Team Leader capacity is highly advantageous
* Experience in working with in a fast paced manufacturing environment is highly desirable
