Teledyne e2v Space Imaging has been trusted to design and deliver imaging sensors and sub-systems to over 250 space missions helping humankind to better understand the world we live in.

Teledyne e2v Space Imaging provides high performance CCD, CMOS and IR sensors for space science, Earth observation, astronomy, and scientific applications. Sensors are designed, fabricated, post-processed, packaged and tested in our facilities in Chelmsford (UK).

Teledyne e2v Space Imaging is now working on several large-scale, multi-year projects that are significantly increasing the demand level on its operations. In recent years, Teledyne e2v Space Imaging has also secured contracts to deliver solutions at a focal plane level, including mechanical assembly, cryogenics and proximity electronics.

Position Summary and Responsibilities:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Sales and MarComm Coordinator to join our international sales, business development, and marketing team. This requires close collaboration with a global sales team to support their success and ensure alignment across international markets. This pivotal role will support the Director of Business Development, Marketing and Communications, as well as the General Manager, ensuring the seamless operation of our initiatives. The successful candidate will also take responsibility for certain internal communication activities, helping to keep staff informed and engaged across the organisation. The ideal candidate will bring experience with Salesforce, a passion for international business, and a proactive, can-do attitude.

Key Responsibilities

1. Coordinate daily sales and marketing activities across multiple international markets, ensuring effective communication, collaboration within the team and management reporting
2. Take ownership of specific internal communication activities, including disseminating key updates, preparing internal newsletters, and supporting the organisation of staff meetings and briefings.
3. Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Director of Business Development, Marketing and Communications, as well as the General Manager as required.
4. Manage and update leads and prospect information on Salesforce, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
5. Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, both digital and traditional, tailored to diverse international audiences.
6. Support the business development team in identifying new business opportunities, preparing proposals, and following up on leads.
7. Prepare regular sales and marketing performance reports, utilising Salesforce and other analytics tools.
8. Coordinate the organisation of international events, trade shows, and client meetings, including logistics, materials, and follow-up communications.
9. Maintain marketing collateral, ensuring all materials are up to date, on brand, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
10. Liaise with internal teams and external partners to support the execution of business development and marketing strategies.
11. Manage online enquiries for the business, including running initial background checks and distributing within the global sales team
12. Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Director of Business Development, Marketing and Communications, or the General Manager.

Person Specification

13. Proven experience in a sales, marketing, or business development coordination role, ideally within an international environment.
14. Demonstrable experience using Salesforce CRM for sales and marketing functions.
15. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
16. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
17. High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
18. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and comfortable learning new software tools.
19. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
20. Flexible and adaptable approach, with a willingness to take on varied tasks as required.
21. Knowledge of international business practices and cultural sensitivity is an advantage.

This role is office-based in Chelmsford but will require occasional working across time-zones outside of normal UK working hours.
