Metal Picker – Wolverhampton
Up to £13.50 per hour | 4 on 4 off | Temp to Perm
We are recruiting a Metal Picker for our Wolverhampton-based metals recycling client, specialising in the recovery of non-ferrous metals.
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with clear progression — after a successful trial period, you’ll have the chance to go permanent, gain new skills, and earn a higher rate of pay.
The Role – Metal Picker
* Separating materials on a conveyor belt
* Identifying and sorting non-ferrous metals
* Reporting product quality issues to the Team Leader / Operator
* Assisting with plant maintenance and daily housekeeping
* Carrying out general manual duties
What We’re Looking For
* Reliable and hardworking attitude
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment
* Previous recycling, production or manual labour experience (preferred but not essential)
* Good attention to detail
* Willingness to work 12-hour shifts
Pay, Hours & Contract
* Pay rate: Up to £13.50 per hour
* Shifts: 05:30am – 5:30pm
* Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (12-hour shifts)
* Overtime: Available and paid at a premium rate
* Location: Wolverhampton
* Contract: Temp to Perm
