At Ormiston Forge Academy, we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (TA1 or TA2, depending on qualifications and experience) to join our Success for Learning team, working 31.5 hours per week, term time only, including training days. Whether you are an experienced practitioner or early in your support staff career, we offer a role with purpose, professional development, and the chance to become a valued member of our community.
The successful candidate will work closely with students requiring additional support, both in the classroom and within our Success Centre. Your role will include:
* Supporting teaching and learning for individuals or small groups
* Assisting with classroom delivery and interventions
* Monitoring student progress and behaviour
* Supporting reintegration and behaviour plans
* Building strong, trusting relationships with students, staff, and families
Your work will be guided by the SENCO and Success Centre Leaders and delivered across various settings, including mainstream classes, withdrawal sessions, and learning hubs.
Requirements:
* A minimum of GCSE Grade A to C or Grade 4 or above passes in maths and English
* Qualified to Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning
* Minimum of 1 year's experience supporting classroom students (desirable)
