We are looking for a talented Assistant Chief Financial Officer to join the Finance leadership team at The Lister Hospital in London. You will play a key role in shaping the hospital's financial strategy, supporting business growth and ensuring robust financial management across the organisation. This role is on the development path toward becoming CFO and offers the opportunity to influence decision‑making at a senior level – all while contributing to the continued success of one of the UK's leading private healthcare providers.
As a key member of the Finance leadership team, the Assistant Chief Financial Officer will report to the Chief Financial Officer and assume a supportive role in the financial management of the facility. The Assistant CFO will share responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling financial‑related activities under the direction of the CFO. This includes supporting accounting, finance, forecasting, and strategic planning functions, and collaborating with the CNO and CHRO on workforce planning.

What you’ll bring
Prior experience of working within financial management within a complex organisation – prior experience supporting strategic planning and budgeting processes
Exposure to audit preparation and financial compliance
Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field or professional qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
Solid understanding of financial controls, reporting, and compliance
Familiarity with Power BI and other financial software systems
